Otego, NY Engagement/Family Photography

So Karli met me at Applebee's in Oneonta a while back to talk over the details of her wedding and what she was looking for from me, her photographer. It was simple, she said " I want pictures that I will still like in 10 years.". That hit home for me. I appreciated where she was coming from, she is simple, down to earth and very much knows what she wants...even though she doesn't think so!  Karli and Josh met many years ago in the midwest showing cows...fast forward to the present and they are living and working the farm life together in Otego, raising their one year old son and getting ready for a new family member in just a few short months. I had the opportunity to visit their farm where we did some family pictures...what a beautiful place!

Delhi, NY Engagement Photography

Derek & Kim met at a friends birthday party a little over two years ago, it didn't take long for Derek to pop the question and for Kim to say YES!  Fast forward to early winter 2011 when Kim contacted me about being her wedding photographer, I was happy to be a part of it! Kim's been transitioning at work and as Derek says, there is always construction going on around the house for the upcoming "event". So we finally settled on a date for engagement pictures, and guess what...it rained! Well, a few short days later I finally met up with Kim and Derek at their home in Delhi. Kim said they had one of the best views in Delhi, and you know what, she was right! So, you will see a lot of green grass and blue sky in these pictures. Couldn't help myself, it was a gorgeous evening with a gorgeous couple!  See you 7.23.11 when the party gets started!
