Surprise Bridal Party Shoot! | Heather and the Gang | Bloomville, NY

So it's been some time in the making but my lovely cousin Heather and her awesome fiancé Chad are about to get married tomorrow! As a surprise, Heathers bridesmaids planned a themed shoot for her and the girls. What a great idea... very cool indeed!

Looking forward to getting all these crazy girls in front of my camera again tomorrow where I will be the wedding photographer and a guest...hmmm, not sure how I well I will balance the two but I am sure going to try my best!

Bethany & Zach | Mountain Top View, Binghamton, NY | Wedding Photography

Bethany and Zach...what can I say other than these two are so full of life that their cup runneth over! The day started with the girls at the salon, and there were many many girls. We moved on up to the mountains surrounding Binghamton for Bethany and Zach's ceremony and reception. Close to 300 family and friends joined the celebration and man did they celebrate!

The clouds and rained threatened on and off but the sun broke through just minutes before the ceremony started. Zach's brother had the honor of performing the ceremony and the guests had the honor of watching the entire bridal party break out into dance after Bethany & Zach were pronounced husband and wife. Hysterical is all I can say!

As the masses moved to the reception site, the clouds rolled back in and the sky opened up with a tremendous amount of rain! By then though everyone was safely under cover and beginning to party the night away. Party, party, party...this group knew how to do it and do it well! Thank goodness I brought Amber Johns along with me to second shoot because there were quite a few people who were camera ready! :-)

Zach and Bethany, thank you for inviting me to capture your day from beginning to end, from tears to laughter. I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Katie & Charles | E-Session | Gilbert Lake & Oneonta, NY

I was so happy to hear that Eric Haly of Intra-State Entertainment had referred Katie & Charles to me! In fact that is how I meet most of my clients, through referrals like this.

Katie & Charles live in Washington D.C., so scheduling their e-session was a little tricky but we finally got it on the calendar two weekends ago. Our first stop was the beautiful Gilbert Lake. I love Gilbert Lake State Park and have some very fond memories from my childhood that including this charming area.

Next we took a quick trip to Main Street, Oneonta where we took advantage of the colorful doorways that run up and down the street. There were people all over main street that day because of a flea market of some sort. Katie and Charles handled it like pro's though with onlookers and all!

For all of you brides and grooms to be out there...take advantage of your photographers engagement session if they offer one. It makes your wedding day photography go even better since you are much more prepared on how it feels to be in the front of the camera!

Katie & Charles, thank you for working with me and my crazy schedule. I am so happy we got to do this before your big day in September!
