Wedding Photography, Oneonta NY | Kayla & Mike

Kayla and Mike met at the Holiday Inn. No, not at a friend or relatives wedding but at work since they are both employed there and believe it or not they decided to get married there too, surrounded by a staff and crew that they knew and trusted. Smart move! 

It was the middle of a heat wave...roasting you could say but Kayla and Mike both kept their cool throughout the evening and had the time of their lives! Personally I know how much time the families put into making this wedding as beautiful as could be and beautiful it was. 

My favorite part of the evening was taking 15 minutes with Kayla and Mike out on the lawn in front of the hotel between the bowling alley and Interskate 88 (ahhh the memories) shooting their wedding portraits...ya...too funny but you wouldn't even know it!

So without further delay, I present the highlights from Kayla and Mike's wedding!

If you recall from earlier last week ...

Let me introduce you to Cassandra and Tim. She was a senior at SUCO who was committed to exercise and he was part of the grounds maintenance crew who was committed to being in the same spot at the same time to watch her run by... You are witnessing the beginning of a beautiful story.

So it all started here...on the track at SUCO where Cassandra, a senior at the time, would gear up and run every day and Tim would be driving by in his SUCO grounds cart heading out to work on one of the many projects that lay ahead for the day. Lucky for them they caught each others eye and started to date not too long after their first meetcute... but, then....

Cassandra had to leave...yes leave. She had already signed up to finish her graduate work in Texas.

While Time stayed behind in Oneonta, NY...

 longing for the day the love of his life would return to him...

It took a LOOONNNGGGG 2 years but she did.. :-)

And then came the proposal and the promise of happily ever after, no matter what...by the looks of these two, they will have no problem fulfilling that promise.

Here's to a long and happy lifetime together Cassandra and Tim, I am honored to be able to document the start of something wonderful!

Engagement Photography, Cooperstown NY | Angela & Steve

Cooperstown was my meeting place with Steve and Angela, in fact we met at the exact spot where Steve proposed (awww..). We hoofed around Cooperstown for a while and had people in a stir wondering who the "stars" were in the dress and suit. Speaking of suits and dresses, these two knew exactly how to class it up!

Usually we build up to the "dressy" shots but we did things a little backwards and ended up a little more relaxed with a park and a few beers. :-) My kind of evening...
