Sam & Carey | 10.19.2012 | Wedding Photography, Albany NY
Rain, rain go away... no matter how many times I chanted this the rain just wouldn't listen! But it didn't matter to Carey and Sam because they were getting married no matter what at the beautiful Albany Country Club.
When I first met these two in Cobleskill, I remember asking them to tell me their story and Carey just started giggling...(forgive me if I get any details wrong..it was a bit ago!) there was a trip to Philadelphia, the oldest ice cream shop in the city and specifically a request for Carey's hand in marriage from Sam. Then when we met again for their engagement session, guess what, there were more giggles...in fact I think I even posted a few outbursts in their blog. So would it surprise you for me to say that Carey was flat out giggling with a combination of catching her breath during the ceremony? No, I didn't think so...
When a potential client interviews me, they may not know it but I a interviewing them too. I truly believe the photographer and the bride & groom need to have a connection with the person who will photograph one of the most special times in your life. So how did I know that these were two people I would absolutely love to work with, call it a gut feeling...and my gut was right!
Carey & Sam, enjoy your new home (they moved in just days before the wedding!) and your new married lives together. I wish you all the happiness you deserve! Enjoy!

Jennifer & Waylon | Engagement Photography, Stamford NY
So I have seen these two several times since their engagement session a few weeks ago and each time I say...patience, patience...and patient they have been! We had a great time whipping around Stamford Golf Course on a couple of carts finding great spots to shoot with the last of the fall color. Looking forward to their wedding in 2013!
