Kristin & Mike | 4.27.13 | Carriage House, Oneonta, NY

Bridesmaids were whirling around the house finishing up some last minute preparations. The sun was sparkling and so was Kristin who was tucked away, getting her hair done, and taking deep breaths to calm her nerves. Mike arrived on time, smiling and laughing with his brothers...all of them, and I mean there are a lot!

The entire day was on schedule (again!), the reason this time? Getting ready, ceremony and reception were all at the same lovely spot, The Carriage House in Oneonta, NY. The day breezed along and with the incredible weather we were able to create some stunning images of Mike and Kristin.

Kristin and Mike, thank you for thinking of me way back at the beginning of your journey, it's been a marvelous experience! Many, many happy years to both of you!

Cassandra & Tim 4.13.13 Foothills Performing Arts Center, Oneonta, NY

They were only a few doors away from each other, but kept themselves hidden from each other until the time was right. The excitement was building. Cassandra (her always cool and collected self) beamed with confidence and joy. She knew today was the day she was marrying her best friend, nothing else mattered. Tim, flushed with excitement, couldn't help but ask "is she here yet?" several times as we were getting set up for their first look.

We started at Jimmy T's, a very cool cat kind of place in downtown Oneonta for Tim & Cassandra's first look. It was a breath taking one might I add. From there we moved onto the Foothills Performing Arts Center right across the street for the ceremony and reception.

I was so elated to have Tim & Cassandra's wedding be my season opener, we were running ahead all night...really! Why? Because these two put a huge amount of energy into planning the most relaxed wedding possible, from getting ready at the same hotel, doing a first look ahead of the ceremony and having the ceremony and reception at the same place. These are all things that add a huge amount of wiggle room and flexibility to a wedding day schedule!

Cassandra and Tim, I meant every word I said to you on your wedding night. I am so grateful to have been a part of your awe inspiring wedding day. Here is to an astonishing couple and their deep love for one another, may it last you lifetime after lifetime.
