It was a glorious morning, the house was warm and the dogs were barking. Nate met me at the front door of their home instead of the entry door to the NICU. Julie walked through the kitchen door with Cooper in her arms instead of motioning me over to his hospital crib. How different was this, and how wonderful it was. I couldn't wait to hold him, to touch his smooth baby skin and give him a million kisses! And kiss him I did!
Here is the third installment of my sessions with Mini Cooper. If you're not sure what a miracle looks like...keep scrolling.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with his story, please take some time and visit my first two posts on his families journey to bring him home. Here he is...home sweet home! (and the laugh in this kid is like no other I have ever heard...no joke)
