Stamford, NY Wedding Photography | Beth & David

When I first met Beth almost a year ago, I knew she was serious about her wedding pictures.... I mean REALLY serious!

I did not have the fortune of meeting Beth's fiance until the day before the wedding, and can I tell you I was a little nervous! But once I started shooting him and his friends on the golf course, I knew all would be fine!

Beth and David's wedding was close to heart for me, even though I didn't know it before hand. Their wedding was so close to what mine and my extended family would throw, I felt so comfortable because I had been to these many times before. Warm, welcoming, loving...those are the words I would use to describe the day and how they treat each other.

Also I want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Amber Johns of AmberJ Photography for working with me. It was great reconnecting and forging a new friendship!

Without further ado....ENJOY!

Beth and David, I present you with a preview of the past...your wedding day! May you spend many happy years reminiscing about your beautiful wedding!

Of course one of the images on "THE LIST" was the jumping shot..a personal request of Beth's!

Roxbury, NY | Engagement Photography | Carly & K.C.

So with every engagement session I think to myself ... "I wonder how willing my subjects will be?" Willing to do what you ask? Well, not necessarily anything specific but be able to go with flow, take direction with out being posed, have fun with the experience. I am a lucky girl so far and particularly when it came to Carly & K.C. Carly had done her homework and had a few locations picked out until the quickly setting sun and blew the last few out of the water. I offered up a few suggestions and... they went with it! Carly braving the snails between her toes and K.C. being quick to recognize that the meaning of flashing headlights is "to pull over as quickly as possible because we have to use this pure sunlight right her right now!". We chased the light over mountain tops and came out with some gorgeous images of these two.

I look forward to every wedding I am doing this season and in the future because each couple brings a new style, new stories and new memories with each experience. I am particularly looking for to Carly and K.C.'s since Carly confessed she has three pairs of shoes she is rotating during the event! :-)  OK, take your time and bask in the love of this seriously cute couple. Enjoy, Patti!

and my all time favorite..seriously!

You might ask, what? Who is this guy? Well, this is Carly's grandfather...sweet as sweet can be. We took a quick tour of his beloved waterfalls that he built for his wife. I hope someday I can say someone built me a waterfall. :-)
