E-Session | Allison + Jared | East Meredith, NY

Alison & Jared caught the bouquet and garter at their friends, Kate & Nick's wedding...I just happened to be photographing that wedding! A few short months later I received an e-mail from Allison telling me they had gotten engaged and were planning their wedding in Ocean City and were wondering if I might travel to work with them...I didn't hesitate!

They knew they wanted a winter engagement session and I was excited about it too as it would be my first shoot in the snow. We waited and waited, and yes finally...snow! Thank goodness we aren't having a repeat of last winter! Snow and beautiful Hanford Mills Museum go hand in hand and so did Allison & Jared.

Enjoy sharing a few moments of the love Allison & Jared share through the following images...it is as genuine as genuine can be!

Happy New Year to all who read this! May your 2013 be bright and filled with discovery of things you never knew you could do!

2012 A Year In Love Review

First let me start by asking that if you aren't already a fan of my wedding photography page, please hop on over and become one today by clicking on this sentence!  It's appreciated as I try to grow my audience!

This is something I wanted to do last year but honestly just never got around to it and yes, I was a little disappointed that I didn't push myself to do it... This year a little elf helped inspire me, and no, it wasn't elf on the shelf. It was my cousin, who's wedding I will be shooting in 2013!

So I hope you enjoy looking back over some of my favorites from 2012 Weddings and Engagements!

Looking forward to another amazing season in 2013!

Steve & Angela 10.27.12 | Wedding Photography | Bovina, NY

Ahhh, Angela and Steve.... What can I say? Let's see... #1 I was happy to have them stick with me through a few sets of plans. #2 I was thankful to have them as the last wedding of my amazing 2012 season since I felt I was with family (I grew up with Angela's uncle!). #3 It was 6 miles from home...oh yah.

So I'll add a little commentary along the way because some of them require a little back story... :-)

Ok so I got a little crazy with the rings...but really, there was a piano there so what did you want me to do, ignore it? Not me...I decided to have some fun!
Love this composition!

Loving this image.

Max the dog, and ring bearer was awesome.

The family support was exactly what Angela needed.
Best first look I have done,  Believe me she needed them to be holding her when she saw Steve on the dock.

The emotion, how I could I not be honored to witness and document this.

This field just down the driveway from the cabin was a dream...

Oh and these woods, I mean come on I was about to ask them to have the ceremony there!

See I told you Max was the ring bearer, he came down the aisle with the pillow too!

High five up the aisle, way to go Rachel!
Loving the reflections off the lake in the background.

Oh Sara...
She attempted to pick up a shot and drink it during her toast and about shook it all over..so Angela the loving sister she is helped her out!

Grandma kiss!

Let's just say Steve was a little less nice to Angela than she was to him!
A little birdie told me the last time he slid across the floor like this he broke his wrist... I was like what do you mean "last time"...he does this often? ;-)
And they partied on, through a power outage and all! These masks were very well used and a cool idea!

I wish Marne had Facebook so she could see her bad self in the lower right hand corner!
Happily ever after you two! Thanks for trusting me with your day!
